The Center for Social Action (CSA) conducted the AdbokaSerye: Kasarian Gender Sensitivity Training for Benilde Kapitbahayan and institutional partners on June 14 and 17, 2025 at theIdeation Room, Atrium Campus. CSA invited the College’s institutional Gender and Development (GAD) focal person, Ms. Nicole Trisha F. Panganiban, as resource person for both sessions.
The sessions gathered participants from various barangay, and civil society organization (CSO) partners, fostering a collaborative learning space on gender equality and inclusivity. The training covered key topics such as Basic GAD and SOGIESC, equipping participants with foundational knowledge and practical insights for gender-responsive engagement in their respective communities. Through interactive discussions and shared experiences, the activity encouraged critical reflection and strengthened participants’ capacity to advocate for safe, inclusive, and respectful spaces. This initiative supports Benilde’s continued efforts to extend gender equality advocacy beyond the campus and into partner communities, contributing to broader social transformation.
