The UniBeverage Masterclass 2024, organized by Allegro Beverage Corporation, forms part of the company’s annual UniBeverage Competition, a platform celebrating creativity, precision, and innovation in beverage crafting. Through Benilde SHRIM’s participation, students were exposed to emerging trends in specialty coffee and mixology, advanced beverage technologies, and professional competition standards.
The masterclass featured an intensive hands-on session on advanced mixology, beverage profiling, and equipment handling, giving students direct experience with state-of-the-art tools used in the beverage industry. This collaboration promotes academic–industry synergy, nurturing innovation and strengthening professional readiness within hospitality education.
The initiative underscores Benilde’s commitment to quality and experiential learning (SDG 4), career-oriented skill development (SDG 8), and sustainable partnerships that foster innovation and modern industry practices (SDG 9 and SDG 17) in hospitality and beverage education.
