The Hour of Code Initiative
The Hour of Code is a global movement by Code.org in partnership with Accenture. It aims to introduce students to the basics of computer science, including artificial intelligence (AI), coding, and other emerging technologies.
Benilde Deaf School and Accenture Partnership
Each year, Accenture collaborates with Benilde Deaf School to hold an interactive learning session where students explore coding concepts through guided tutorials led by Accenture’s volunteer employees.
This year marks the second Hour of Code at Benilde Deaf School. The session was held on 11th December 2023. The initiative went beyond coding—it also focused on environmental sustainability and how technology can help address environmental challenges.
