In line with the preparations and joyful anticipation of the Philippines’ chairmanship of ASEAN in 2026, the Benilde School of Diplomacy and Governance, in partnership with one of its student organizations, Leaders in Diplomacy (LEAD), curated an exhibition on ASEAN, why it matters to everyone, and a backgrounder on our upcoming Chairmanship.
The inauguration of the exhibit was graced by (Ret.) Amb. Marilyn Alarilla, one of SDG’s Special Lecturers and a former Philippine Ambassador to Lao PDR. She also gave the Ambassadorial Lecture afterwards on the relevance of ASEAN, and how it plays an essential role in our state and global affairs.
