A partner community of SDEAS for more than ten years SDEAS Volunteers primarily conducts a Deaf and Hearing Camp- a collaborative effort of De La Salle College of Saint Benilde, School of Deaf Education and Applied Studies and Stairway Foundation Inc. (SFI). The contribution of both SFI and SDEAS is to provide venue for our students to be of service to people/group of people who really need help and support. SFI takes part in realizing the mission of CSB in helping the SDEAS students enhance their talents and skills by providing venue for interaction, sharing, seminar and workshop to experience personal transformation and meaningful learning encounters that will enable them to become creative thinkers, competent and socially responsible citizens to be able to respond to societal needs. This activity will also serve as an advocacy and proof that the Deaf has gifts and talents that can be source of future contribution to the community, society and the world.
