SDG students joined the Benildean Delegation to the South Manila Educational Consortium (SMEC) x British Council Roadshow Event earlier today, 11 March 2024, at the De La Salle University-Manila.
The said event, which is among the roster of activities in celebration of SMEC’s 50th Founding Anniversary, was graced by H.E. Laure Beaufils, the Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the Philippines and Palau. During her keynote, Amb. Beaufils discussed global trends, and how the importance of cooperating and fostering resiliency among like-minded nations may serve as an instrument to ensure global peace and security.
The Ambassador’s keynote address was then followed by a presentation by the British Council on possible opportunities for further studies, both for students and faculty members, through the Chevening Scholarship Program.
