The animated film Frere was recently screened for our partner barangays, providing the community with an opportunity to experience a meaningful and thought-provoking piece of local animation. The screening was followed by an engaging talk and open forum with the film’s creators — Nelson Caliguia, Benjamin Marasigan Jr., Ronillo Dayao, Yolec Homecillo, Isner Wasan, and Patrick Astilla — who shared insights about the creative process, themes, and inspiration behind the film.
The event was successfully organized through the efforts of Miss Dina Fabian and her team, whose dedication made this collaborative and educational activity possible. This initiative not only fostered appreciation for local filmmaking but also strengthened community engagement through art and storytelling.
