SMIT Graduate Program Representation at the SIBR International Conference 2024: Expanding Global Academic Connections

From January 5–6, 2024, one student and two faculty members from the Graduate Program of De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde participated in the Society of Interdisciplinary Business Research (SIBR) Conference held in Seoul, South Korea. Ms. Roxoanne Dizon, a graduate student, presented her thesis as a partial fulfillment of her degree requirements. Faculty presenters included Dr. Christian Eligius Jimenez and Dr. Zosimo O. Membrebe, Jr.

The conference brought together hundreds of scholars, academicians, and industry practitioners from around the world, including representatives from De La Salle University, University of Massachusetts Boston, and University of Melbourne, among others. Participation in this international forum provided an opportunity to expand students’ global academic networks, showcase the College’s commitment to excellence and adaptability, and demonstrate the institution’s capacity for producing high-quality research in International Business. This engagement also positioned De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde within the global International Business academic community, highlighting the program’s research capabilities and leadership preparation for students.
