The Benilde School of Diplomacy and Governance Team was invited by the Commission on Higher Education – International Affairs Office (CHED-IAS) to facilitate the “Seminar Workshop on Social Graces, Protocol, and Etiquette” from 15-17 July 2024 in Pangasinan.
This initiative served as a platform for participants, coming from various Philippine higher education institutions (HEIs), to be equipped with the pertinent knowledge on Diplomacy and Protocol, which is cognizant with CHED’s aim of internationalizing the country’s HEIs. At the same time, it also became an avenue for the participants to gain skills which will be very much pivotal in line with the Philippines’ ASEAN Chairmanship in 2026.
The workshop was facilitated by (Ret.) Amb. Monina Estrella Callangan-Rueca, one of SDG’s Special Lecturers, SDG Dean, Dr. Gary Ador Dionisio, and the OIC-Chairperson of the CDA/DIA Program, Prof. Shiela Mae Sabalburo.
