In the second day of the 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 + 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 on 29 November 2024, the School of Diplomacy and Governance (SDG) hosted an insightful panel discussion titled “𝐶ℎ𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑒𝑛𝑔𝑒𝑠 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑂𝑝𝑝𝑜𝑟𝑡𝑢𝑛𝑖𝑡𝑖𝑒𝑠 𝑜𝑓 𝐴𝐼 𝑖𝑛 𝐷𝑖𝑝𝑙𝑜𝑚𝑎𝑐𝑦 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝐺𝑜𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑛𝑎𝑛𝑐𝑒” at Hotel Benilde Maison De La Salle.
Moderated by SDG Senior Faculty 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗘𝗱𝘄𝗶𝗻 𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗮 , the panel featured 𝗗𝗿. 𝗘𝗯𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘇𝗲𝗿 𝗥. 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗼 of UP-NCPAG (University of the Philippines – National College of Public Administration and Governance), 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗹 𝗙𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝘇 (Program Chairperson of Governance and Public Affairs), 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝗴𝗼 (Program Chairperson of Diplomacy and International Affairs), and 𝗠𝘀. 𝗝𝗶𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗲 𝗔𝗱𝗶𝗼𝘃𝗮, an AB-Consular and Diplomatic Affairs student.
The event attracted a dynamic audience of professionals, practitioners, and members of the Benildean community, offering a platform to explore how artificial intelligence is shaping the future of governance and diplomacy. With thought-provoking insights and fresh perspectives from young voices, the discussion highlighted AI’s transformative potential and the importance of innovation in addressing global challenges.
