SDG convened a meeting with the Council of Advisers of the Diplomacy and International Affairs Program (DIA; formerly known as Consular and Diplomatic Affairs or CDA) on 17 October 2023. The advisers in attendance were as follows:

- (Ret.) Amb. Victoria Bataclan
- (Ret.) Amb. Luz Palacios
The purpose of the meeting is to continue developing an undergraduate degree program that is up to par with the latest changes and developments in diplomacy and international relations.
