In January 2024, the Information Systems Program (ISP) of the De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde was officially deputized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) to offer the Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP) for the Bachelor of Science in Information Systems (BS-IS). This authorization marks a significant milestone in the College’s continuing effort to provide inclusive, accessible, and flexible education pathways for Filipino professionals.
Through ETEEAP, qualified individuals with extensive work experience in the field of Information Systems can earn their undergraduate degree by having their prior learning, skills, and competencies assessed and accredited. The program formally began accepting applicants in Term 3, Academic Year 2023–2024, aligning with Benilde’s mission to recognize experiential learning and professional achievement as integral components of higher education.
This initiative reflects Benilde’s ongoing commitment to lifelong learning and to expanding academic opportunities for working professionals in the technology and information sectors. By offering ETEEAP under CHED’s deputization, the College strengthens its role as a leader in innovative, inclusive, and industry-responsive education.
