Paglaban sa Pagkalimot

The Paglaban sa Pagkalimot: An Exhibit of Portraits of Martial Law Victims provided the Benildean community with a safe and neutral space to engage in meaningful reflection and conversation on one of the country’s most sensitive political periods. By bringing together students, faculty, associates, and visiting community partners, the exhibit created an open platform where diverse stakeholders could collectively examine issues related to historical truth, justice, and human rights. The exhibit encouraged dialogue across perspectives and generations, allowing participants to confront challenging national narratives and discuss the broader implications of Martial Law on today’s democratic institutions. Through this initiative, Benilde demonstrated its commitment to fostering spaces where civic engagement, critical thinking, and open discourse can take place in a respectful and inclusive environment—advancing the goals of SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions.
