Kawing, which means ‘link,’ is a Student Trainers (STRAINS)-initiated project designed to embody us Filipinos working as bridges between diverse communities, stimulating growth and progress. Kawing 2024 worked with the Children’s Rehabilitation Center (CRC). The project centers on raising awareness amongst STRAINS members on child abuse concerns, and providing support to children who have been victims of different forms of abuse through interactive activities and social engagement.

STRAINS’ members organized Kawing 2024.

The event was held on 6 April 2024 at the Augusto-Rosario Gonzales Theater and the 5/F Auditorium, Taft Campus. STRAINS is a student-volunteer group of the Student Involvement Unit (SIU).
