A remarkable achievement for the Human Resource Management Program (HRMP) as Mr. Robert L. Tang, faculty member, received the Best Paper with Practical Implication Award from the Managerial and Organizational Cognition Division of the Academy of Management (AOM)—one of the most prestigious international organizations in the field of management and organizational studies.
The award was conferred during the 2024 Academy of Management Annual Meeting held in Chicago, Illinois, USA, in August 2024. His paper, titled “Helicopter Bosses: Development and Validation of the Micromanagement Scale,” presents valuable insights into workplace leadership behavior, organizational dynamics, and employee management practices.
