The FSL Sing It with Signs event was held on November 16, 2023 (Thursday) at the Augusto Rosario-Gonzalez (ARG) Theater, Benilde Taft Campus, as part of the 29th Deaf Festival celebration. The “Filipino Sing It with Signs” program stands as a collaborative effort between the Deaf and Hearing Community, providing a unique platform for the acquisition of Filipino Sign Language (FSL) signs through musical expression. This initiative aims to grant the privilege of passion for both non-Benildean and Deaf Benilde students, enabling them to learn the intricate connection between signs and lyrics. The fusion of sound and signs not only enhances individual learning but also promotes teamwork, facilitating a bridge between the Deaf and Hearing Community. With a focus on cultivating abilities and fostering inclusive learning gains, the event witnessed active participation from 105 CSBLIFE students, associates, and non-Benildean students, showcasing a collective dedication to musical inclusivity and linguistic understanding.
