Benilde LIFE champions, volunteers participated in commemoration of OMTB’s 17th year

The Lasallian community continues its greening tradition and commitment as stewards of God’s creation. As a symbolic action, De La Salle College of Saint Benilde joined environmental champions and volunteers from De La Salle network schools, organized by the De La Salle Philippines-Lasallian Institute for the Environment (DLSP-LIFE), to commemorate the 17th year of the One Million Trees and Beyond (OMTB) Program through a mangrove planting activity.

The group, composed of faculty members, school administrators, staff, and parents from De La Salle Luzon schools, planted 700 Avicennia sp. seedlings along the coasts of Brgy. Lumaniag, Lian, Batangas. More than 70 participants gathered to take part in this meaningful event. Cheers to the 17th anniversary of OMTB!
