The De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB) partnered with Philippine Airlines to provide students with hands-on training in the aviation and tourism industries. The partnership was formalized on 8 May 2025, at the Lucio K. Tan Jr. Center in Pasay, with key representatives from both institutions present. Signing for Benilde were Chancellor Benhur Ong, Vice Chancellor for Academics Angelo Marco Lacson, and Dr. Marie Paz Castro, while Atty. Carlos Luis D. Fernandez and Alvin Kendrich O. Limqueco signed for Philippine Airlines, alongside representatives from Air Philippines Corporation.
The partnership officially launched a transformative internship program, opening opportunities for Benildean students to gain hands-on experience with the country’s flag carrier. It also marked the beginning of a broader collaboration involving joint training programs, expert-led industry talks, research initiatives, and potential career pathways for Benildean graduates in the aviation industry.
