diNaKoFROSH – SMIT Frosh Student and Parent Orientation for 3rd Term Enrollment

On February 19, 2024, the School of Management and Information Technology (SMIT) held #diNaKoFROSH, an online Student and Parent Orientation conducted via Zoom to prepare first-year students and their parents for the Third Term of Academic Year 2023–2024. The activity aimed to familiarize participants with the enlistment and enrollment procedures as all freshman students transitioned to de-blocked schedules under their respective programs.

The event was hosted by Mr. Jacob Catayoc, Chairperson of the Information Systems Program (ISP), together with Ms. Catherine Mojado and Mr. Ricardo Cruz Jr., Associate Deans of SMIT. The Academic Advisers of all SMIT programs were also introduced, giving students and parents the opportunity to connect directly with their program mentors. Detailed guidelines on Enlistment, Pre-Enrollment, Adjustment, and Late Enrollment were presented to ensure a clear and well-informed process for all attendees.

The #diNaKoFROSH activity strengthened communication between SMIT administrators, faculty, students, and parents, while reinforcing Benilde’s commitment to a student-centered learning environment. It also reflected the College’s effort to ensure that Frosh students are guided, supported, and well-prepared for their academic journey ahead.
