Collaboration Meeting with Aboitiz Data Innovations on AI and Business Analytics Curriculum Development

On March 8, 2024, the School of Management and Information Technology – Analytics, Computing, and IT (SMIT-ACI) Cluster of the De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde welcomed Dr. Adrienne Heinrich, Head of the AI & Innovation Center of Excellence of Aboitiz Data Innovations (ADI), for a collaboration meeting focused on strengthening the College’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Business Analytics curricula.

The consultation aimed to align Benilde’s academic programs—particularly the BS Information Systems (BS-IS), BSBA Computer Applications (BSBA-CA), and BSBA Business Intelligence and Analytics (BSBA-BIA)—with the current trends, demands, and technological advancements within the AI and data-driven industries. Dr. Heinrich shared valuable insights on emerging competencies, practical applications of AI in business environments, and strategies for integrating innovation and ethics in data analytics education.

This collaboration with Aboitiz Data Innovations reflects Benilde’s proactive commitment to industry-academe partnerships and to ensuring that its programs remain relevant, forward-thinking, and globally competitive.
