The Center for Institutional Planning (CIP) successfully held The Benilde Year-End Performance Review for AY 2023-2024 on 25 September 2024 at the Design + Arts Campus Theater. Chancellor Benhur Ong opened the event with his welcome remarks.
This event was hosted by Ms. Mary Diane Ilagan and Ms. Angeli Villamor, Planning Officers of the Center for Institutional Planning, and attended by 249 Benilde Associates.
The Team Leaders and representatives of the five Strategic Initiatives reported the achievements and highlights of their plans for the Academic Year 2023-2024 to the Community. Ms. Ilagan presented the Strategic Initiatives Year-End Overall Performance for AY 2023-2024 which stood at 70.32% over 100%. This academic year’s result were compared to the year-end performance during the Academic Year 2021-2022 that had a performance rating of 78.77% while in Academic Year 2022-2023, with a recorded total accumulated score of 79.07%. Our overall performance score increased by 0.3% in AY 22-23 and experienced a decline of 8.75% in the recently just concluded academic year.
Only two (2) out of the five (5) SIs were able to achieved more than 80% in their Actual Performance, these are SI Academics, and SI Digital Transformation. The other three (3) SIs, SI Lasallian Formation, SI Marketing, and SI Resource Management, achieved performance ratings lower than 75%. The following is the summary of achievements:
- SI Academics – achieved 87.65% overall performance, completing 71 out of 81 milestones
- SI Lasallian Formation – achieved 57.14% overall performance, completing 12 out of 21 milestones
- SI Marketing – achieved 71.43% overall performance, completing 15 out of 21 milestones
- SI Resource Management – achieved 53.03% overall performance, completing 35 out of 66 milestones
- SI Digital Transformation – achieved 82.35% overall performance, completing 14 out of 17 milestones
59 milestones were carried over to the Academic Year 2024-2025 due to changes in directions by the management or difficulties encountered during the plan implementation.
The President’s Dashboard was shared as well with the community which indicated the performance of each Strategic Initiatives constituted in their measures and yearly milestones based on the Benilde’s Roadmap for Academic Year 2023-2024.
