Benildean Administrators Retreat – Strengthening Faith, Zeal, and Communion in Leadership

On February 20–21, 2024, administrators from various programs of the De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde, including representatives from the Information Systems Program and Cybersecurity Program, participated in the Benildean Administrators Retreat (BAR). The retreat served as a meaningful pause from daily administrative duties, allowing Benildean leaders to reflect, reconnect, and realign with the Lasallian values that guide their service and leadership within the institution.

The two-day retreat centered on the theme of faith, zeal, and communion, key pillars of Lasallian spirituality. The sessions were designed to deepen participants’ understanding of their vocation as servant-leaders and to strengthen their commitment to the Lasallian mission of education and inclusivity. The retreat included three core sessions: Spirit of Faith: Living the Lasallian Spirituality as Administrators, Spirit of Zeal: Doing Lasallian Mission as Administrators, and Spirit of Communion: Synodality – A New Impetus for Formation in Servant Leadership.

Through the Benildean Administrators Retreat, participants were able to reflect on their shared mission, strengthen their sense of community, and renew their dedication to leading with compassion, purpose, and faith. The activity exemplified Benilde’s commitment to holistic leadership formation—nurturing not only professional competence but also spiritual depth and service-oriented values in its administrators.
