Last August 30, 2023, the Office of the Vice President for Innovation launched Benilde Breakthrough, the first Innovation Project Presentation. Eight innovative teams presented proposals covering a spectrum of ideas, ranging from process optimization to social and frugal innovation. After thorough evaluation, four finalists were chosen: Synergy, Team PRO, The Re-inventors, and QMM x INNOV, from which an outstanding project proposal would be selected.
The final selection took place on February 26, 2024, at the Ideation Atrium Building, with a distinguished panel of judges including Mr. Joaquin Quintos IV, Dr. Merlin Suarez, and Br. Edmundo Fernandez FSC. The winning projects were Qube – Quality Benilde Self-Assessment App by QMM x INNOV and Be-Hired – Organic Outsourcing with AI application by Team PRO, which will receive funding from the Office of the President for implementation.
