[AY 2023-2024] CHMS FLU VACCINATION PROGRAM

The Center for Health and Medical Services flu vaccination activity aimed to help participants (benildean students and associates) understand the main purpose of the flu vaccine. It also sought to assess and raise awareness among members about how the vaccine contributes to their overall well-being. Through the discussion, participants learned how flu vaccination helps avoid severe illness caused by the influenza virus. The program emphasized the importance of preventing and controlling infectious diseases in the community. It also highlighted the role of vaccination in promoting well-being for individuals of all ages.

Participants were reminded that getting vaccinated lowers the risk of contracting the flu. Overall, the activity reinforced the value of flu vaccination as a simple yet effective health intervention.
