[AY 2023-2024] CHMS BASIC FIRST AID TRAINING FOR THE AWARENESS OF DEAF STUDENTS

The DLS-CSB Deaf students who participated in the CHMS Basic First Aid Training gained essential knowledge and practical experience in handling medical emergencies. The training helped them define and understand the importance of First Aid and Basic Life Support, enhancing their awareness of how timely intervention can save lives.

This program was specifically designed to raise awareness among deaf students about appropriate first aid responses during emergencies. It also aimed to equip them with the necessary skills and confidence to handle first aid incidents effectively, regardless of their hearing condition.

Beyond skill development, the training promoted a deeper sense of safety, preparedness, and community responsibility. It emphasized the fundamental goal of preserving life and empowering the deaf students to act with confidence and care during emergency situations.
