The Advocacy for Disability (ADVODIS) course integrates academic instruction with community engagement, emphasizing active service to the Deaf community. Implemented during the 2nd Term of AY 2024–2025 (April 12, 2025), the course involves students in conducting workshops on Deaf rights, the Filipino Sign Language (FSL) Law, and disability advocacy, in partnership with Deaf organizations such as the Philippine Federation of the Deaf Youth Section (PFDYS). Through these initiatives, the course cultivates leadership, civic responsibility, and social awareness among Deaf youth, empowering them to become proactive advocates for equality and inclusion.
