In celebration of Women’s Month, the Center for Social Action in partnership with the Center for Restorative Discipline held the Women’s Month Edition of AdbokaSerye: Safe Spaces at 2/F Ideation Room, Atrium Campus. This edition of AdbokaSerye aims to shed light about the intricacies of the Safe Spaces Act and its implementation in Benilde.
The event started with a presentation by Vice President for Lasallian Mission and Student Life (OVPLMSL) Ms. Nicky Templo-Perez about the implementation of the Safe Spaces Act in Benilde and the school processes for cases related to it. Her presentation is followed by a moderated panel discussion joined by the Chief Legislative Officer of Senator Risa Hontiveros Dr. Jaye de la Cruz-Bekema, and Lunas Collective volunteers Yana Padolina and Jana General.
The program ended with a community pledge and signing of “A Benildean’s Pledge for a Safe Space in DLS-CSB.”
