On 20 October 2023, the Communication and Literature Area of the School of Multidisciplinary Studies hosted the online workshop “Rehashing and Refreshing Our Research Skills” to enhance faculty research and publication capabilities. Resource speakers, Mr. Neil Pariñas, Mr. Rodrigo Rivera, and Dr. Noel Fabia, guided the SMS faculty in refining research problems and questions, conducting and citing related literature, and selecting appropriate research designs. The session also launched “bayanihan collaboration stations,” where faculty volunteers mentor colleagues, building a supportive, peer-led research culture that enhances both teaching quality and scholarly output.
