The Student Publications Unit (SPU) believes in the inclusion of all Benildeans; hearing and Deaf alike. This seminar aims to train student-journalists in Filipino Sign Language (FSL) to cater to the Deaf community in and out of Benilde. By having basic FSL knowledge and skills, the student-journalists will be able to confidently communicate, specifically, with the Deaf graduating students in subscribing to the College yearbook, which SPU spearheads.
The seminar was held on 29 May 2024 at the Taft Campus.
