The Summer Training and Artist Recruitment or STAR Workshop and Recital 2024 held at the Augusto-Rosario Gonzales Theater, Taft Campus, serves as the grand culmination of the workshop series, highlighting the creativity, growth, and dedication of its participants. Student-artists from the Benilde Culture and Arts Unit (BCAU) take the lead in teaching and mentoring new and aspiring artists, including the incoming Benildeans and participants from outside the College.
Held from July 10 to August 23, 2023, STAR 2024 serves as an inspiring platform that showcases Benilde’s nurturing environment for the young and aspiring artists. The event features performances and exhibits in music, dance, theater, and visual arts, celebrating the participants’ artistic achievements and the spirit of collaboration within the outside and the Benildean community.
