De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB) and Utah Valley University (UVU) celebrated a ceremonial signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on July 7, 2025, at Vatel Restaurant Manila, formalizing a strategic academic collaboration designed to strengthen global engagement and knowledge exchange.
The partnership focuses on joint projects, resource sharing, and student and faculty mobility programs, creating opportunities for Benilde and UVU communities to collaborate across disciplines and expand international learning experiences. By enabling both students and faculty to engage in cross-cultural academic exchanges, the MOU aims to cultivate globally competent graduates while fostering innovative teaching and research initiatives.
Representing UVU, Dr. Carl Canlas signed the MOU, highlighting the shared vision between the two institutions to enhance academic excellence through strategic collaboration. The agreement underscores Benilde’s commitment to internationalization and partnership building, providing pathways for students and educators to gain world-class exposure and for the institutions to co-create impactful academic programs.
