De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB) and the Department of Education – Schools Division Office (SDO) of Muntinlupa formally sealed their collaboration through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing held at Vatel Restaurant Manila on June 6, 2025.
The partnership underscores a shared commitment to advancing inclusive and quality education through focused initiatives on teacher training, education research, learning material development, and consultancy services. With this collaboration, Benilde will provide technical expertise and capacity-building support to strengthen SDO-Muntinlupa’s goal of becoming a model division for Deaf-centered bilingual education.
The one-year partnership, running from April 2025 to March 2026, signifies a strategic step toward creating sustainable systems that uphold accessibility and equity in education.
The agreement was signed by Violeta M. Gonzales, CESO VI and Officer-in-Charge of SDO Muntinlupa, Benilde Chancellor Benhur Ong, and Vice Chancellor for Academics Angelo Lacson.
Through this partnership, Benilde continues to champion its Lasallian mission of inclusivity, innovation, and social transformation, ensuring that education remains a powerful tool for empowerment—especially for learners from the Deaf community.
