De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB) further strengthened its engagement with the corporate social responsibility (CSR) sector as Sherlo Reyes, Director of the Center for External Linkages (CEL), was invited by the League of Corporate Foundations (LCF) to serve as one of the judges for the 2025 LCF Guild Awards.
The LCF Guild Awards is one of the country’s most prestigious recognitions in CSR, honoring organizations that exemplify strategic impact, sustainability, and innovation in their programs and partnerships addressing social and environmental challenges. The awards highlight the transformative role of corporations in building inclusive, resilient, and sustainable communities across the Philippines.
During the meeting, the organizers provided a detailed orientation on the Guild Awards’ categories, eligibility requirements, and evaluation process, emphasizing how the initiative promotes excellence and accountability in corporate citizenship.
Reyes’ participation not only underscores Benilde’s commitment to social innovation and inclusive development, but also opens new avenues for collaboration between academia and the corporate sector. By engaging with the country’s leading CSR practitioners, CEL aims to build stronger industry-academe partnerships that advance shared goals in community engagement, sustainability education, and nation-building.
