On August 15, 2024, Ms. Divine Grace Bariuan, faculty member of the Business Intelligence and Analytics (BIA) Program, presented her Teaching Overview for the Learning Pack Grant: Cloud Databases (CLOUDAT) under the School of Management and Information Technology – Analytics, Computing, and IT (SMIT-ACI) Cluster. The presentation showcased her instructional design approach for integrating cloud database technologies into analytics education, highlighting modern data management tools and practices essential for today’s digital workforce.
The initiative was guided and mentored by Dr. Catherine Mojado, Associate Dean for the ACI Cluster, and Mr. Jacob Catayoc, Chairperson for the Information Systems Program. Their mentorship ensured the proposal’s alignment with Benilde’s academic innovation goals and its emphasis on preparing students for real-world applications of data science and cloud computing.
The CLOUDAT Learning Pack Grant contributes to Benilde’s strategic direction of advancing technology-driven teaching and faculty development. It underscores the College’s commitment to continuous academic improvement through the adoption of cloud-based technologies that enhance learning experiences and industry relevance.
