Benilde Preview Unplugged – Showcasing ACI Programs to Future Benildeans

On March 16, 2024, the School of Management and Information Technology – Analytics, Computing, and IT (SMIT-ACI) Cluster held Benilde Preview Unplugged, the first post-pandemic, face-to-face Benilde Preview event. The activity welcomed senior high school (SHS) students and their parents who were exploring academic opportunities in Benilde, offering them a firsthand look at the College’s innovative and future-ready technology programs.

The event featured the complete suite of ACI programs, including BS Information Systems (BS-IS), BSBA Computer Applications (BSBA-CA), BSBA Business Intelligence and Analytics (BSBA-BIA), BS Game Design and Development (BS-GDD), and BS Cybersecurity (BS-CSEC). Through interactive presentations, program exhibits, and discussions with faculty members, guests were introduced to the unique strengths of each program—ranging from game design and digital innovation to data analytics and cybersecurity. Faculty and student representatives shared how Benilde’s learner-centered and industry-aligned approach prepares graduates to become leaders and innovators in the evolving digital landscape.

Benilde Preview Unplugged marked a significant return to in-person engagement, strengthening the connection between Benilde and its future students. The event highlighted the ACI Cluster’s commitment to fostering creativity, inclusivity, and technological excellence, while inspiring SHS students to pursue pathways that align with their passion for computing, analytics, and interactive media.
