In its continued mission to promote inclusion and accessibility in the workplace, De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB)—through its School of Deaf Education and Applied Studies (SDEAS)—has been invited by the League of Corporate Foundations (LCF) to take part in the upcoming LCF Expo 2024. The event is set to take place on July 3, 2024, at Dusit Thani Hotel, Makati City.
An alignment meeting was held on June 11, 2024, to discuss Benilde’s participation in the prestigious gathering. During the session, the Center for External Linkages (CEL) Director was invited to serve as one of the panel speakers on Inclusive Employment Practices, representing Benilde’s leadership in building equitable and accessible work environments.
The LCF Expo, organized by a network of 97 corporate and family foundation members, serves as one of the country’s leading platforms for collaboration and social responsibility. Benilde’s participation highlights its strong track record in advancing inclusive education and employment, particularly through SDEAS, which has long championed opportunities for the Deaf community and persons with disabilities.
Beyond sharing Benilde’s best practices, the event opens valuable avenues for networking and partnership-building. Engagements with LCF members are expected to spark new possibilities for student internships, industry visits, resource sharing, and community outreach programs—initiatives that align with Benilde’s vision of transforming education into a tool for social good.
Through this collaboration, Benilde continues to amplify its advocacy for inclusion and empowerment, inspiring organizations to embrace diversity as a strength and to design workplaces where everyone—regardless of ability—can thrive.
