The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management (EAHM) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is an internationally recognized institution for excellence in hospitality and service leadership education. Through its Study Abroad Training Program (SATP), students from the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde School of Hotel, Restaurant and Institution Management (SHRIM) undertake academic and industry training designed to enhance employability, cultural competence, and global hospitality expertise.
Two cohorts joined the program within the reporting period: the September 2023-April 2024 batch with three BS-HRIM and one BS-IHM student, and the January-August 2024 batch with three BS-HRIM students. Participants completed a seven-month integrated program combining study at EAHM and hands-on training at Jumeirah Group properties and other partner hotels in Dubai, gaining deeper understanding of global service standards, sustainability, and cross-cultural leadership.
This collaboration between DLS-CSB SHRIM and EAHM demonstrates Benilde’s commitment to international academic partnerships (SDG 17), quality global education (SDG 4), and career-ready training for sustainable growth (SDG 8).
