The School of Deaf Education and Applied Studies (SDEAS) partnered with the National Shrine of Our Mother of Perpetual Help for an event held on September 23, 2023, at the shrine. The activity was attended by 32 Deaf volunteers and 47 hearing volunteers. The National Shrine of Our Mother of Perpetual Help and the School of Deaf Education and Applied Studies hosted a celebration and worship event entitled “Dance for Christ!” The theme was ‘Synodality: Songs, Praise, and Adoration,’ and it brought together Deaf and hearing Youth.

The event aimed to create an inclusive and vibrant environment where both Deaf and Hearing youth could come together to express their faith through dance and songs in FSL. It provided a platform for cultural exchange and mutual understanding, fostering unity among the Hearing and Deaf youth leaders.
