De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde continues to strengthen its commitment to sustainability through Project Carbon Neutral, an institutional initiative that aims to reduce the College’s carbon footprint and promote environmental stewardship within the community.

One of the project’s key practices is waste reduction and proper segregation at source, ensuring that materials are managed responsibly in accordance with the College’s waste management guidelines. Color-coded trash bins are strategically placed around the campus to guide proper segregation. By promoting recycling and recovery programs, Benilde minimizes the volume of waste sent to landfills while fostering a culture of environmental responsibility among students and associates.

Complementing these efforts, Benilde also operates its traditional electric jeeps (e-jeeps) as a sustainable transport solution within and around the campus. These e-jeeps provide a cleaner, quieter, and more energy-efficient alternative to conventional vehicles, helping reduce greenhouse gas emissions and air pollution.
