Delegates from De La Salle schools participated in the nationwide celebration and second anniversary of the Net Zero Carbon Alliance (NZCA) on September 25, 2023, with the theme “Zeroing in on Net Zero: From Corporate Pledges to Action,” held in Pasig City. De La Salle Philippines-Lasallian Institute for the Environment (DLSP-LIFE) champions and representatives from De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde, De La Salle Lipa, De La Salle University–Dasmariñas, and De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute attended the event.
In pursuit of the commitment to attain net-zero emissions by 2050, the NZCA leads a private sector-driven initiative that provides Filipino businesses with a framework to achieve carbon neutrality. Benilde stands as the only Lasallian institution that is a signatory to the NZCA, reaffirming its dedication to climate action and sustainability.
