The Service-Learning Unit, represented by Ms. Joyce Camille Dominguez and Ms. Jona Hermoso, together with INTDXHI faculty Ms. Karol Antonio and Mr. Randy Pabona, conducted the INTDXHI Immersion in Barangay Magsilay, Kalinga.
This activity marked the first implementation of long-distance Service-Learning, where students participated in the renovation of the Senior Citizen Center in the community. The immersion allowed students to engage directly with the assigned community, conduct interviews with local members, and gain a deeper understanding of the community’s needs while applying their learning in a practical and meaningful way.
