AdbokaSerye: 11,103 Film Screening and Talkback

On 23 February 2024, the Center for Social Action in partnership with DAKILA-Philippine Collective for Modern Heroism and its educational institution Active Vista Center, Inc. held the AdbokaSerye: 11,103 Film Screening and Talkback at the ARG Theater, Benilde Taft Campus.

11,103 features survivor stories of state-sponsored violence during the Martial Law years of dictator Ferdinand Marcos. It won the 46th Gawad Urian Best Documentary Film.

Invited as panelists for the talkback session after the screenings are one of the film’s directors, Mike Alcazaren, and Martial Law survivor Nilda Fullon; moderated by Active Vista Program Director for Campaign and Advocacy Sunshine Serrano.

An estimated 600 students, associates, and guests of the Benildean community participated in the activity in commemoration of the 38th anniversary of EDSA People Power Revolution.
