The Service-Learning Unit, represented by Ms. Joyce Camille Dominguez, Mr. John Carlo Palmado, and Ms. Jona Hermoso, together with Ms. Vanessa Puente from the Directors Office, participated in the IV UNISERVITATE Global Symposium held at De La Salle University Manila. The event gathered numerous attendees, including DLSU and UNISERVITATE representatives, as well as delegates from various institutions worldwide.
The symposium explored the concept of transformative Service-Learning (SL) as an educational approach that promotes student engagement, strengthens community partnerships, and integrates spiritual reflection for social change. Over the two-day gathering, students, educators, researchers, community partners, and specialists from five continents shared insights and experiences centered on key themes such as student protagonism, transformative spirituality, and the impact of collaborative community work in higher education.
