15 November 2023 / Benilde D+A Campus I To start off the year’s Benilde ID’s Seminar Series: Conversations, Mr. Wesley Millora, an Industrial Designer from Seoul, South Korea, led a talk on his industrial design journey in the aim of inspiring future designers. Born in the Philippines and then immigrated to the United States in the 1980s, Wesley graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design at Pratt Institute in New York City. Since then, he had designed a number of products ranging from electronics to creative 3D printed forms for companies such as Samsung and Vizio. See more of his work by visiting his portfolio.
The Conversation Series also featured Benilde ID and BIND alumna Selena Placino. Selena was part of the pilot cohort of Advance Design’s Offsite— an online program learning real-world design skills taught by industry professionals. She has worked and collaborated with companies like The Walt Disney Company Inc., KENNETHCOBONPUE, Desall, and Chicco.
