A regular activity as part of the BSIHM (Vatel Program)
The Marco Polo Program gives you the possibility of doing one semester abroad in another Vatel school, chosen among our schools worldwide. This experience will allow the student grantee to become familiar with different teaching methods, different ways of thinking, and of course with a different culture. The student grantee will also be confronted with a different lifestyle, enriching from academic, cultural and linguistic points of view.
Specifically, Inbound and outbound students may take their junior year or M2 year (French equivalent) in any Vatel schools globally provided that they are equipped with the language skills required by their chosen country. A spin-off of this program is called the Magellan program where faculty members from Vatel schools are encouraged to become guest lecturers in any Vatel schools around the world. This program fosters not only academic expansion but cultural immersion as well. Students are encouraged to socialize with other students in their respective Vatel School to foster cultural appreciation and understanding.
