Travelers in Progress (TRIP) introduced three major competitions that reflect the event’s commitment to sustainability and innovation. SustainApp challenged participants to design an application focused on sustainability in tourism, harnessing technology to promote eco-friendly and responsible travel behavior. GeoGuide featured a digital mapping competition highlighting various tourism themes such as sustainable tourism, ecotourism, sun and beach tourism, diving, and marine sports. Lastly, EcoVenture invited participants to create sustainable and experiential tourism packages that balance environmental preservation, community engagement, and visitor satisfaction.
