Pagsibol : Pamayanan ng Bagong Purok Formation Program

The community leaders and selected members of Pamayanan ng Bagong Purok, one of the identified partner communities of De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde Antipolo, held a Pamayanan Formation Program that introduced the College’s history, philosophy, mission and vision, and the Benildean Expressions of the Lasallian Core Values. The activity also served as a preparatory session for the upcoming NSTP 2 classes for Term 3 and other Office Social Action (OSA) programs.

This capacity-building activity formed part of OSA’s partner community formation program. For Pamayanan ng Bagong Purok, the first capacity-building session was held on May 17, 2024, at Benilde Hall, focusing on strengthening the partnership with the College. The need for such an activity was identified based on focus group discussions and interviews conducted with key community leaders, which aimed to gather information about the community’s needs. The activity was also aligned with the upcoming deployment of NSTP 2 classes for Term 3, AY 2023–2024.

Furthermore, the event aimed to solidify the partnership between the College and Pamayanan ng Bagong Purok through future collaborative projects focusing on gender equality, livelihood, peace and order, and quality education.
