Rather than renewing the subscription of the IPS Service with the old firewall device, which is nearing 7 years of service, and its support is scheduled to end on June 30, 2024. The recently deployed next-generation firewall (NGFW) significantly enhances the security of our campus network, incorporating layer 7 protection, advanced Machine Learning (ML)-based threat detection and prevention, and top-notch security intelligence. The NGFW was delivered in September 2, 2023 and the installation and configuration were successfully completed on October 18, 2023.
