The Philippine Political Science Association International Conference is an annual event hosted by PPSA which is geared towards bringing together academicians in the field of political science. This is with the hopes that through their engagement and paper presentations, they will be able to learn from one another and bring the quality of Political science education in the Philippines into another level, thus making it more competitive with its counterparts abroad. Issues on policy and social media; Southeast Asia; and gender are among the topics featured in the conference.
For the iteration of the conference in 2024, SDG sent Mr. Josue Raphael Cortez to represent the institution and present his paper titled “Southeast Asianization: An Examination of Discourse in an Online Community
and How it Contributes to the Emergence of a Collective ASEAN identity.”
