As part of the New Faculty Academic Onboarding, the CFAd-Instruction unit conducted an online orientation on Benilde’s Grading Guidelines. The webinar focused on familiarizing new faculty in the College’s policies, and standards in evaluating and assessing the students. The primary goal of the Benilde Grading Guidelines is to ensure that students’ academic performance is assessed and evaluated objectively, periodically, and fairly while
maintaining academic rigor and protecting the College’s academic standards. This is to further ensure that all teachers, including partner institutions, are guided in the process of assessing and evaluating students’ performance in achieving the intended learning outcomes of the course.
